The archive is every release we've ever made, kept in the order it left the room. Nothing is deleted, nothing is remastered after the fact. If you want to hear what we sounded like the first year, it's here.
How it's kept
format original masters, 1/4" and 1/2" tape storage climate room, 18°C, 40% humidity backup digitized once, at 96 kHz, then shelved index every reel logged by hand
Why it matters
Tape rots if you ignore it. We don't. The archive is the label's memory, and we treat it that way.
